From October 31 to November 7, the Arab World Research and Development Agency (AWRAD) interviewed 668 Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, during the fourth week of the ongoing Gaza war.

The team conducted the survey through face-to-face, tablet-assisted interviews across the West Bank and in shelters and households in the three “southern” governorates of Gaza (Deir Al Balah, Khan Younis, and Rafah) where people were currently residing.
The survey sample includes all socioeconomic groups, ensuring equal representation of adult men and women, and is distributed proportionally across the West Bank and Gaza.
I would like to point out, however, that the survey result may have been tainted by:
- A false opinion of the respondents, for fear of reprisals
- Post-survey editing by AWRAD, to control the outcome
In essence, it is not certain that support for Hamas is that high, but it is certainly not negligible.
